Bus Safety Poster:
1.Include this slogan in freehand drawn letters: I See the Driver--The Driver Sees Me
2.Drawing must be original, exclusive work of student.
3.At least a part of a yellow school bus must be present in poster.
4.Accepted media for design includes: markers, color pencils, paint, crayon or oil pastel. No collage!
5.11"x17" or 12"x18" poster board (keep flat, do not roll!!)
6.No lamination of poster allowed.
Important dates:
- Last day to turn posters in to Mrs. Johnson is September 15th
- Bus safety week is October 17th-21st
- Bus driver appreciation day is October 17th
Good luck! There canbe only one winner for each of the following divisions at Eastvalley: k-2, 3-5 and Special Education. The posters are then judged by the local superintendent or transportation director to be submitted at a state level.
The 7th Annual Allatoona Ally Artist Challenge!
Twelve winning drawings of Ally, the fish mascot for lake Allatoona, will be published into a coloring book. This contest is only open to Cobb County 4th and 5th graders!!
1.Must use black ink to draw outlines only. Do not fill in any area completely.
2.All drawings must depict water conservation and include Ally.
3.Must use proper form to draw picture (Available from Mrs. Johnson).
Important Dates:
- Last day to submit entries to Mrs. Johnson is October 14th
- Artist party recognizing winners will be in early 2012
