The chorus did a great job on three consecutive days of field trips!
The Cobb principals made comments such as, "that was feel-good music," "your chorus was the best out of of all we heard this year," "they were having so much fun performing," and "I hope you'll come back next year!"
America Sings! at Stone Mountian was just as rewarding. Our chorus kids, along with 1500 others from around the country (and from Bermuda) made peanut butter sandwiches for hungry and homeless people, and delivered hundreds of food items to the Atlanta Food Bank. All that while doing something we all enjoy: singing and dancing together!
Our Spring Musical, the Magic Jukebox, is May 1 and 2 at 6:30 PM. Tickets are only $2 each this year. Bring your friends!

The Eastvalley Eagle Chorus will perform for the Cobb County Principals on March 6th. They did an excellent job singing for performance judges last week, and we are proud of them!
Eastvalley Eagle Chorus members put on a great show for our partners in education this month!
Also, we were one of the highlights of the day for many visitors to the Georgia Aquarium as the chorus put on two concerts there.
On Friday, December 21, the chorus will lead a student body sing-along of "Classic Carols" at Eastvalley. Students, remember to wear your uniforms!
The Eastvalley Eagle Chorus began the evening's entertainment with our National Anthem, The Star Spangled Banner, and then sang Frere Jacques as a 4-part round with xylophone and metallophone accompaniment. They continued with a tribute to our troops, You Are Our Heroes. They concluded with Wind on the Hill, followed by a powerful rock song with an anti-drug message, My Mind is Mine! As always, the chorus sounded terrific.
Next was an exhibition of Middle Eastern Drumming performed by several Eastvalley students. In the near future, I hope to post a video of the drum performance.
