Eastvalley Day at the Braves is this Sunday April 15! Chorus call time is at 12:40
See you there!
Chorus Students must wear their chorus uniform shirt, tucked in, to perform on the field.
They may wear any pants/shorts that are school-appropriate.
Chorus Parent Information:
• TIME & MEETING PLACE: 12:40 PM – Enter the Stadium complex and go to the Hank Aaron Drive ramp (outside sections 125-127), Field Level concourse. There may be pre-game festivities meeting there, so ask and look for us.
• TRANSPORTATION: Chorus members are to arrange their own transportation and must beaccompanied by a parent or a supervising adult. The adult will be responsible for children at Turner Field. No child shall be dropped off. If you cannot attend, consider letting your child go to the game with one of our other Chorus members and their parent/guardian. Please arrive with plenty of time to use the restroom before 12:40.
• SUPERVISION: The supervising parent/adult must stay with chorus members while we warm-up. We will go into the stadium tunnel about 1:15 PM. Parents may not go in the tunnel as per stadium rules. Children will be supervised by the Braves organization from that point until after we sing the Anthem. Have a chat with your child about staying with me & not wandering off. After we sing, you are in charge of supervising your own child.
• VIEWING, PICTURE TAKING: About 1:20 PM, the chorus will go on to the field at the 1st base line in front of the Braves dugout to sing our National Anthem. (Somebody please video/DVD and/or take pictures of us please, please, please!!!) If you ask nicely, they sometimes let you go down to watch.
• FEED/WATER/BATHROOM YOUR CHILD: Please be sure your child has eaten at least 30 minutes prior to our meeting time of 12:40 PM. Food gives energy to concentrate and perform one’s best. Food must be digested and the throat cleared to do our best singing. Drink water to clear the throat—not carbonated or caffeinated drinks. There will be no bathroom breaks from 12:40-2:00, so please insist that your child go before we meet. Thanks!
• PICK UP YOUR CHILD: After we sing, we will walk the kids back to the Eastvalley section of the stands. At that point, you are in charge of supervising your own child. Children should not wander off looking for you.
