Eastvalley Eagle Chorus to sing National Anthem for KSU Men's Basketball!

Dear Parents,

On February 4, 2012 at 2:50 PM the Eastvalley Eagle Chorus will sing the National Anthem for the Kennesaw State University Men's Basketball game! We will be teaming up with the Still Elementary School Soaring Eagle Chorus for this event!

All Eastvalley families get four free admissions with the special flyer that goes home 1-24-12! Additional tickets are ½ price admission ($5). We need all the chorus kids to come sing!

What time? Meet ready to sing at 2:20 PM; we sing at 2:50 (just before the game).

Where?  Meet in the KSU Convocation Center (Gym next to East Parking Deck). See the KSU website link below for details.

What to wear? Chorus uniform--Black shoes, black socks, black pants, and the chorus uniform shirt tucked in.

Directions:

Take I-75 North to Exit 271 / Chastain Road. Turn left onto Chastain Road. Turn right at the first traffic light, which is Frey Road. At the first traffic light turn left into the East Parking Deck. The Convocation Center is the big building just past the parking deck.

ButterBraids will be Delivered Frozen on November 7th!

Please collect any remaining uncollected money from your customers. Checks are payable to Eastvalley.

ButterBraids and cookies will be delivered frozen on November 7th at 3:30. They must stay frozen until 8-12 hours before you want to eat them.

Remember: Keep Butter Braid pastries FROZEN on delivery day!!!

• Butter Braid pastries must be kept frozen, so be on time to delivery.

• Deliver to your customers right away (make sure they are home and instruct them to put it in their freezer).

• If your customer is not home, you need to put the pastries in a freezer until you can get them delivered.

• Butter Braid pastries should not be left out, should not be left in a back pack, should not be left on a door step, should not be left in your locker, you get the point :) - keep them frozen!!!

Chorus Auditions in August

Dear Parents of 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th Graders,

 The award-winning Eastvalley Eagle Chorus is auditioning for new members this August! The 2011-2012 chorus will rehearse every Monday afternoon from 2:30—3:30 PM. Our musical will be Elfis and the Elves Get All Shook Up!

If your child would like to audition for this acclaimed group, try-outs will be held before and after school on the following dates:

August 29, 30, 31, Sept 1 from 7:10-7:45 AM;

August 29, 31, Sept 1 from 2:30-3:15 PM.

 Returning Eastvalley Eagle Chorus members are not required to re-audition. 

The audition consists of intonation/pitch-matching skills, tonal memory, and singing one verse of the patriotic song “America” demonstrating good tone quality, pitch and breath control. I have included the words to this song, and the music may be found on many websites including:
