This week, grades 2-5 will be completing Mother's Day projects using the website Tagxedo. Kindergarten is completing a graph and first graders will be typing in Microsoft Word. It will be a very productive week in the lab!
Week of April 30-May 4
This week in the lab, all grade levels will be working on their grade level standards for the last nine weeks. First and second graders are typing in Microsoft Word. Kindergartners are working on making graphs using The Graph Club. Fourth and Fifth graders are finishing their Photostories while third graders are graphing in The Graph Club.
International Night
Students who come to the computer lab during International Night will be doing a webquest from Culture Grams. Check it out!
Week of April 23-27
This week, we will continue traveling to classrooms for k-2 until Wednesday while the other students are taking the CRCT. We will resume our regular schedule on Wednesday. Third graders will continue graphing this week using The Graph Club. Fourth graders are learning how to use Photostory while conducting a "Tour of Eastvalley" in photos. Fifth graders will be finishing thier Photostories from their trip to Jekyll Island. It is hard to believe there are only five weeks left in this school year!
Week of March 26-30
It is hard to believe that there is only one more week until Spring Break! I know the kids are excited to be getting a week off but that means that CRCT is just around the corner! The kids have been busy practicing IXL and enjoying math games. This week, the children will continue to practice math on IXL Don't forget that they can also login from home! Have fun!
Week of March 12-16
This week, all grade levels will be practicing their Math skills using a new math program we purchased called IXL. Ms. Wacker used Comcast cell tower money to purchase this amazing program that children can use at home and school. Enjoy!
Week of March 5-9
This is a busy week in the computer lab. K-3 will be working on final projects for report card grades. Kindergarten will be discussing Matter and drawing Kid Pix pictures of solids and liquids. First graders will be typing and adding pictures to papers. Second graders will be making their final graph in The Graph Club. Third graders and fourth graders are typing their research papers in Microsoft Office Word and fifth graders will be creating brainstorming webs in Inspiration. What a great week in Computer Lab at Eastvalley!
Week of February 20-24
I hope everyone had a fabulous President's Day off yesterday! I know I sure did! With this being a short week, we have a lot to do in computer lab! Second graders are continuing to graph this week using The Graph Club. Kindergartners are drawing objects seen in the day and night sky using KidPix. First graders are using Microsoft Office to type letters. Third, fourth and fifth graders will be practicing their math skills using Cool Math. It is going to be a great week in the lab this week!
Week of February 13-17
It is going to be a great week in the lab! This week second graders will continue graphing. They are using The Graph Club and are almost to the point where they can create graphs from start to finish! Great job! Kindergartners will be drawing the day and night sky using KidPix. First graders are continuing to type using Microsoft Word. Third, fourth and fifth graders will be practicing their typing skills using Type to Learn 4. On Tuesday, all specials classes will have class in the gym for Jump Rope For Heart! It's going to be a busy, busy week this week!
Week of February 6-10
Happy week before Valentine's! This week we will be completing some Valentine activities to give to others. Second graders will be graphing fruit they LOVE while Kindergartners will be making love pictures in KidPIx. First graders are going to learn to type in Microsoft Word. Third, fourth and fifth graders will be making Valentine's cards for others using Microsoft Publisher. It is a busy week in the lab!
