I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break and didn't eat too much, I know that I did. It was nice to see everyone at the Friends and Family Luncheon. The students were so excited that you shared in that wonderful Thanksgiving meal the cafeteria prepared.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Wednesday, December 7th we are headed to the Cobb Energy Center to hear the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra perform. We will leave Eastvalley at 9:15 and return around 12:15. We ask the students to "dress up" for this occasion. No jeans, sweat pants, t-shirts with writing, etc..., think Sunday best. If you haven't turned in your permission slip, please return before Friday, December 3rd.
Cobb County Check Point Testing
Checkpoint testing for the 1st - 5th grade will be on Monday, December the 6th and Wednesday, December the 7th in the morning from 8:00 - 9:30. Please see that your child gets a good night sleep, eats a hearty breakfast and arrives to school on time. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00. This test is an indicator of what your child has learned during the year and will assist us with our instruction for the rest of the year. Please do not put any pressure on your child. They are doing well and working very hard in class.
Elfis Musical
Tomorrow night the chorus will be putting on "Elfis and the Sleigh Rider's" at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.
