Attention Parents!

If your child is absent from school, the policy is that you send a note to school stating the reason your child missed school.  Please be specific about the reason.  In the note, please include your child's name, the teacher's name, the date or dates of the absence and the reason.  It is very important to the school to have the documentation on file to excuse a child from school when they are absent, so please send a note each time.  We will also accept notes from the doctor or dentist about an absence from school.  If we do not receive a note, we must mark the absence as unexcused.  After 7 unexcused absences, the matter will be referred to the school social worker.  Thank you for helping us.
