Addition Facts

    One of our standards involves learning addition facts. The children and I practice them daily. We typically dance to some hip hop music and shout out the facts. You could do the same at home. The children LOVE to do anything to music. It really helps the information "stick"! Have fun!!!

BOOSTERTHON Money

Boosterthon money is due Friday morning!  10% of what our classroom collects by Friday morning goes directly back to our classroom.  Help us by having all those that sponsored your child in the fun run pay what they owe by Friday morning.  Our class would like to buy a subscription to a really, cool math website with the money we raised.  Thanks to all of you who participated and to those that came out to the fun run!  It was a great time!  Living EPIC (Encourage, Play, Invite, Celebrate) in our classroom!

Bus Passes

 Bus Pass Information:

If your child needs a bus pass because he/she is riding on a different bus or is getting off his/her regular bus at a different stop, please go to our website (www.eastvalleyelementary.com) and look down the left column under RESOURCES.  Click on Bus Pass.  Please fill out the bus pass completely and send it to school with your child to get Ms. Wacker's signature.  If you forget to send it, you may email it to Mrs. Beth in the office (elizabeth.lauria@cobbk12.org) or fax it to 770-578-7216 by 10:00 a.m.  Thanks for your help in getting your child to the right place in the afternoon.
