Please make sure that your child is doing the homework I send home. It is so important to sit down together and go over it. It does not take very long-maybe 20 minutes. Please have your child retell the homework book. "Retell" means to talk about the beginning,middle and end. These are all questions I ask on reading tests given in the classroom.
