Thank you, Eastvalley PTA families, for making our Staff Appreciation Week very special!
On another note, some of you have asked me to post when I'm playing in orchestral concerts. So, see below:
Lyric Masterpieces
March 19, 2011, 7 p.m.

Join us in March for a feast of 19th Century Lyric Masterpieces from throughout the Old World. Delight to 19th Century Russian composer Alexander Borodin's evocative In the Steppes of Central Asia, whose rich melodies in the winds and brass perfectly capture the windswept beauty of these vast plains. Next, marvel at Tchaikovsky's First Symphony, "Winter Daydreams", in which the composer bends symphonic expectations to accommodate his brilliance as a melodist. The night concludes with Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, which debuted in Vienna in 1812 and has since inspired audiences and critics alike with its lively rhythms and memorable motives. By the end of this tour, we challenge you to go home without at least one song stuck in your head. . .
Borodin - In the Steppes of Central Asia
Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 1 "Winter Daydreams"
