We are studying the seasons and we started with winter.
Each week we will be starting a new season. Next is spring. Our at home project will come when we have finished all 4 seasons. The children will be asked to create a 4 block posters about the seasons with pictures they find in magazines or personal illustrations.

Mrs. Orr's Santa Shoppe
The winter break will be here soon. That means our Santa Shoppe will be starting. The students will be drawing a name of a peer to purchase a gift for in the teacher run Santa Shoppe. I will be purchasing items from the Dollar store to fill our shop. If you would like to donate a dollar for the fund please send that in a envelope or bag marked "Santa Shop" via the green folder. At the shop we will be wrapping the gifts as well. If you have any holiday wrapping paper you would like to donate or wrapping boxes that would be greatly appreciated.
In order to gear up for the Santa Shoppe we will be focusing on coins and their values. Please practice at home with real coins. Each child will come to the shop with a set of coins to use.
